The story is well put together, beautiful; the novel crafts a story that is unlike most I have read and unlike most will get a glimpse of living in the west. My favourite book ever. It provides a realist, juicy account of life for geisha in Japan and how the war took its toll on those who lived there. This book is a true masterpiece and I hope for the sake of future generations that people never stop reading it.
