One of my all-time favorites! If you enjoyed this book, make sure to check out the excellent adaptation by Michael Cunningham entitled "The Hours", which also led to the movie adaptation starring Nicole Kidman (who plays Virginia Wolf), Meryl Streep (who plays a modern Mrs. Dalloway in contemporary NY city) and Julianne Moore (who plays a modern version of Viriginia Wolf in the 50s).
