Considering I wasn’t that keen on the Great Gatsby, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this one, but as it is, it’s not too bad!

For me, I found this novel disturbing and it made me uncomfortable as I read of the downward spiral of Adam and Gloria. The conclusion also left me feeling a little short changed but that is perhaps because it seemed to carry no message of redemption - it was just a change in circumstances. An interest read, however,
