Oscar Matzerat is a kid who decides not to grow and be always three years old, but after a hard confrontation with a complex world in the middle of the war, his vision of life changes. I read this book twenty years ago and I don’t remember many details, but I still remember some powerful scenes about the absurd of human behavior, the best and the worst of human condition and vision of Germany from inside during the World War II.
