I didn't enjoy this as much as I'd hoped, it was a bit too cliché and I found Emma sooo annoying. I guess that is a mark of respect to the author to get me emotional, but still... I didn't hate the story however, and I would certainly recommend it as essential 1800s book to read.

This is a Jane Austen book that I thoroughly enjoyed. Emma is a character who is annoyingly interfering, manipulative, and judgemental, but as time goes on she pleasingly grows and changes in her opinions and attitudes.
I listened to this book on Audible.com, and there is one lady in particular, whom the narrator, Juliet Stevenson, portrayed so hilariously and with such excellence. The whole thing was very well done. Enjoyable.
