Some stories were excellent, some a bit boring. Given that it was written in 1049 a lot of the characters are hard to relate to, but some of the morality portrayed is still true today. Worth reading.

Despite the usually unattractive portrayal of women in the tales, I really enjoyed reading them. They are usually fairly moralistic tales where the 'hero' is usually saved by some fantastical intervention. I am, however, still looking for where open sesame is linked to these stories!
